A.C.T. Memorial

Empowering people to make a change not only in their life but within the community through continued education.

A.C.T. Memorial aims to encourage deserving individuals to achieve their educational goals, meet their career objectives and succeed in making a difference in the lives of others and within their community.

A.C.T. Memorial is dedicated to being transparent, innovative and collaborative. These values are at our core. Our mission since our founding has been to help lessen the financial barriers for those seeking post secondary education. We commit to the work we do with passion, transparency and sincerity. We continously challenge ourselves to think creatively, applying an inclusive approach to all that we do.

Having these values as part of our mission and at the core of A.C.T. Memorial will drive our success.

Here at A.C.T. Memorial, we see the value in helping others and the community. We want to be a catalyst for change. Our Non-Profit Organization was started because of Retired State of California Youth Authority Peace Officer Supervisor Curtis M Adams and his love for people.

When I asked people to describe Curtis, here are some of the descriptive terms I was provided: mentor, provider, a honest person, a teacher, one who has had direct impact on people and the community, one of integrity, he worked toward societal change, supportive, solid, dedicated to loving, protecting and inspiring, a family man, he always made you feel welcome, he extended love and warmth, and he pushed you to empowerment and forward progress.

Dealing with the challenges of today requires people like Curtis...people who care, bring different perspectives and are willing to take risk. A.C.T. Memorial emerged out of a pursuit to inspire others to better themselves, be of service to the community and have a desire for their actions to speak louder than their words.
